Full Stack .NET Developer (.NET 8 React AWS) - Part-Time

About the Role

We are partnering with a leading organisation in Singapore's financial sector to hire an experienced Full Stack .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications supporting mission-critical financial supervision systems.

Working within an Agile environment, you'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, delivering scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications using modern Microsoft technologies, microservices architecture, and React-based frontend frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using .NET Core, .NET 8 and C#.
• Build and enhance microservices-based solutions using event-driven architecture and modern design patterns.
• Develop RESTful APIs to support seamless integration between frontend applications and backend services.
• Implement Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to deliver clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Develop secure authentication and authorisation mechanisms using OAuth and industry best practices.
• Manage database interactions using Entity Framework (EF).
• Containerise applications using Docker to support scalable deployment and cloud-native development.
• Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS services including Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, API Gateway and DynamoDB.
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure applications meet enterprise security standards.

Frontend Development

• Design and develop responsive, modern web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Build reusable UI components and maintain consistent design standards using Storybook.
• Develop unit tests using Jest to ensure application quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across both frontend and backend applications.
• Optimise application performance, scalability, accessibility, and user experience.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with software engineers, solution architects, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support application deployment, release management, and production issue resolution where required.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

• Preferably 5 years or more of experience in Full Stack Software Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core, .NET 8, C#, ASP.NET Core and related Microsoft technologies.
• Proven experience designing and developing microservices architectures and event-driven applications.
• Strong knowledge of Entity Framework (EF) and relational database development.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend integration services.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerisation technologies.
• Good understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and software architecture best practices.
• Experience implementing OAuth authentication and secure application development practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including Amazon S3, Lambda, API Gateway and DynamoDB.
• Strong frontend development experience using React.js, Next.js, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience writing unit tests using Jest and maintaining reusable component libraries using Storybook.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
