Fullstack Developer, Mobile Platforms (Contract) - Part-Time

Our client is a leading global technology platform operating across mobility, delivery, and digital services in Southeast Asia. They are currently looking for a Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join their Consumer Experience Engineering team, focused on building seamless, high-performance web applications that power user discovery, engagement, and transaction journeys.

This is a contract role, with the contract duration ending on 31 Dec 2026.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade backend services (Golang) and frontend applications (React)
• Own features end-to-end across the full stack
• Build scalable, reusable, and high-performance systems and UI components
• Participate in system design, code reviews, and architecture discussions
• Ensure system reliability through observability, monitoring, and post-deployment support
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver features
• Identify performance, scalability, and architectural improvements
• Contribute to CI/CD and operational excellence practices
• Provide technical mentorship and participate in hiring/interview processes

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Golang (backend) and React (frontend)
• Solid computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms)
• Experience owning full-stack features end-to-end
• Experience working with large-scale web applications
• Familiarity with observability tools, debugging, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with mobile development languages like Kotlin or Swift
