Gen AI & Analytics Lead 6-Month Contract - Part-Time

As the Gen AI & Analytics Lead, you will drive the management and execution of all Artificial Intelligence (AI) and analytics initiatives, with a particular focus on Generative AI (Gen AI). This role will be instrumental in leading the execution of the Gen AI & Analytics roadmap, including the delivery of Gen AI proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilot projects, and driving the commercialisation of Gen AI use cases. The successful candidate will also be responsible for program management and building internal capabilities in Gen AI, collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the Gen AI & Analytics strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of AI and analytics initiatives, including the design, implementation, and scaling of Gen AI POCs and pilot projects.
• Identify, evaluate, and drive the commercialisation of Gen AI use cases, transforming innovative concepts into scalable business solutions.
• Prepare and present business proposals, business cases, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders to secure strategic buy-in and funding.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, product, compliance, operations, and external partners to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
• Drive programme management activities, including planning, governance, risk management, and project execution.
• Build and enhance internal Gen AI capabilities by promoting knowledge sharing, innovation, and best practices across teams.
• Engage with external vendors, industry partners, and relevant organisations to explore collaboration, innovation, and funding opportunities.
• Oversee project lifecycles from ideation through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business priorities.
• Champion data governance, responsible AI practices, compliance standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Job Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience leading AI and analytics initiatives, including hands-on involvement in Generative AI projects.
• Excellent track record of driving AI solution commercialisation and delivering measurable business impact.
• Experience developing business cases, strategic proposals, and executive-level presentations
• Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior leadership and cross-functional teams effectively.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with external partners, vendors, and complex stakeholder environments.
• Familiarity with regulatory, governance, and compliance considerations within the financial services industry is advantageous.
• Excellent programme and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
