Infra Automation / Devops Engineer - (Ansible / Python) Contract - Part-Time

We are seeking an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design and implement self-healing infrastructure solutions powered by AI, RPA, and orchestration tools. This role is centered on event-driven automation—integrating Ansible, AI models, and infrastructure platforms to transition from manual operations to intelligent, automated workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Develop AI-enabled automation workflows for incident detection, analysis, and remediation

• Build event-driven automation pipelines following the Detect → Analyze → Trigger → Remediate model

• Integrate large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) for intelligent decision-making and root cause analysis

Infrastructure Automation (Core Focus)

• Develop Ansible playbooks for automated remediation and configuration management

• Automate infrastructure across Unix, Windows, Network, and Firewall domains

• Integrate with orchestration tools such as Ansible Tower and REST APIs

Work with APIs (e.g., NetBackup) and perform system integration to enable end-to-end automation

Integration & Platform Engineering

• Integrate monitoring tools (Elastic, Dynatrace), CMDB (Device42), and AI platforms (OpenAI, Claude)

• Build a cohesive end-to-end AI + automation ecosystem across multiple tools and platforms

Collaboration & Enablement

• Partner closely with infrastructure platform teams to develop shared automation capabilities

• Drive the Build → Upskill → Transfer model to empower domain teams with automation skills

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible and automation scripting

• Proficiency in Python and scripting languages

• Solid understanding of infrastructure systems—Unix, Windows, and Networking

• Good knowledge of APIs, system integration, and event-driven architecture

• Exposure to AI/LLM integration (e.g., OpenAI) and RPA tools (e.g., UiPath)

• Experience with AIOps and observability tools (Elastic, Dynatrace)

• Proven track record in infrastructure automation at enterprise scale

• Ability to bridge infrastructure, AI, and automation seamlessly
