Integration Architect - MuleSoft-12 Months Contract - Part-Time

Seeking a MuleSoft Integration Lead / Architect with strong experience in enterprise integration architecture, API-led connectivity, governance frameworks, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, and large-scale transformation program delivery.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise integration workstream, including integration architecture, governance, roadmap planning, and delivery management across transformation programs.
• Define and operate the Integration COE (Center of Excellence), intake process, standards, and governance framework.
• Design scalable, reusable, and secure integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API-led connectivity principles.
• Review solution designs, RAML/API specifications, data mappings, security models, and deployment approaches to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Manage stakeholders, risks, dependencies, release readiness, and collaborate with business, security, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams.

Required Skills

• Strong MuleSoft Integration Architecture experience with Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, reusable APIs, and enterprise integration design.
• Expertise in designing and governing System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs using MuleSoft best practices.
• Strong experience defining and enforcing API standards, integration patterns, non-functional requirements (NFRs), governance frameworks, and integration catalogues.
• Ability to work closely with network, security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, scalable, and enterprise-aligned integrations.
• Experience in integration delivery management, roadmap planning, architecture reviews, stakeholder management, and cross-program dependency management.

Good to Have

• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, Platform Architect, or Developer certification.
• TOGAF or Enterprise Architecture framework experience.
• CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, logging, release management, and operational support experience.
