RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with business users, tech team and data engineers to understand the context and meaning of NTUC Health's data
• Assemble large, complex data sets using SQL and Python
• Collaborate with the project team and implement data solutions, such as key reporting dashboards
• Support the seamless integration of analytics insights into business processes

• Solid understanding of SQL
• Experience on BigQuery and Postgres is a plus
• Experience on Google Looker Studio is a plus
• Experience on data processing and data analytics using Python
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience in stakeholder management with end users from non-technical background is a plus

We are looking for a data analyst intern with a strong sense of social mission. This role is seconded to NTUC Health, as a part of NTUC Health's Product Development team Data Product squad consisting of data engineers and data analysts. As an analyst intern, you will contribute to company mission of delivering quality services by helping the organization harness the value of her data. In your work, you will conduct data analysis in a cloud-based environment, and have opportunities to work with key business stakeholders on high impact data projects within NTUC Health and across other NTUC social enterprises.

Besides being plugged into NTUC Health, you will continue to be a member of the NTUC Nexus family, a vibrant tech community made up of individuals passionate about tech and social good. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated data wrangler who has a knack for problem solving, to effectively support the development and implementation of data solutions. He/she should possess fundamental skills for data processing and interpretation to derive valuable insights, and is able to present those insights coherently to stakeholders.
