IT Assistant Manager (7-Month Contract SGD 3200 - SGD 3400) – JO 28964 - Part-Time

Key Highlights:

• Be a part of an IT delivery and operations team supporting system implementation, requirements gathering, testing coordination, and day-to-day issue management, while working closely with stakeholders and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and stable system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review existing documentation, system architecture, and workflows to understand current state and translate them into clear user stories and technical requirements.
• Support project management activities such as tracking project progress, monitoring milestones, managing timelines, and flagging changes in scope or schedule where needed. Close coordination with the project manager is expected to ensure delivery remains on track.
• Assist business analysts in facilitating requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and user acceptance testing with end users and stakeholders. This includes documenting feedback, clarifying requirements, and supporting system validation activities.
• Operational support for live systems, including handling production issues, service requests, and escalation management. You will help ensure issues are tracked properly and resolved within agreed service levels.
• Monitor vendor performance, follow up on issue resolution, and identify areas where service delivery or operational processes can be improved.
• Occasionally, additional tasks depending on project or operational needs.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or a hybrid role supporting IT system implementation or maintenance, ideally involving systems with multiple external integrations.
• Experience supporting both project delivery and operational BAU work is important, including requirements documentation, testing coordination, and system rollout support.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methods for gathering, documenting, and tracking functional, interface, and data requirements.
• Good project coordination skills, with familiarity in managing timelines, dependencies, and delivery risks. Exposure to agile environments will be an advantage.
• Experience supporting user acceptance testing and system configuration or enhancement work will be useful.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, vendors, and business users.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or CBAP will be an advantage.

• A positive working attitude, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities are expected.
