IT Operations Specialist - Part-Time

Job description:

• Infrastructure Management: Provide core support for both Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring uptime and security.
• Virtualization & Cloud: Set up, maintain, and optimize vSphere, VMware-based VMs, and Proxmox environments.
• Networking: Manage small network environments (specifically Juniper and Aruba), including the implementation and maintenance of Network Access Control (NAC).
• Connectivity: Configure and support site-to-site VPNs and Wide Area Networks (WAN); act as the primary point of contact for ISP/WAN provider communications and ticket resolution.
• Specialized Support: Provide high-level support for Windows clients and specialized hardware/software such as T2000IPSE.
• Data & Scripting: Utilize basic SQL knowledge and related scripting languages to support database technologies and automate routine tasks.
• Test operation support: Experiences or good understanding of test file (e.g. STDF) generation at final test or wafer test to ensure smooth test operation

Requirements:

• Hands-on Experience: Proven track record in managing VMware and Proxmox virtualization platforms.
• Network Fluency: Strong understanding of Juniper/Aruba hardware and the mechanics of VPN/WAN connectivity.
• Technical Versatility: Ability to pivot between Windows and Linux environments seamlessly.
• Analytical Mindset: Basic proficiency in SQL and scripting to troubleshoot database-related issues.
• Communication: Excellent English skills are a must; you should be able to translate complex technical issues into clear updates for providers and internal stakeholders.
• This is a 2‑year contractual role, with potential for renewal based on performance and business needs.
