IT SDLC Project Manager (Banking Industry) - Part-Time

Job Summary

We are hiring a IT SDLC Project Manager with minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in a Project Management in Application Upgrade Project in Banking Industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of assigned banking projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and governance standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between consulting firm, client stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth execution.
• Develop and maintain project plans, scope, schedules, and resource allocation incoordination with client teams.
• Monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful delivery.
• Facilitate project meetings, steering committee sessions, and provide progress updates to internal and client management.
• Oversee solution design, testing, and deployment phases, ensuring quality and alignment with objectives.
• Support change management and stakeholder communication initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to client methodologies, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and guide project team members, including consultants and client staff, to foster collaboration and productivity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or related discipline.
• Must have minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in a Project Management Office in Application Upgrade Project in Banking Industry. Overall experience not more than 15 years.
• Proven track record in end-to-end application upgrade projects.
• Experience in managing enterprise software applications, application modernization, system implementation, or application upgrade initiatives is mandatory.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end software application lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support is required.
• Strong understanding of software application delivery frameworks, including Waterfall and Agile practices is mandatory.
• Experience managing application upgrade, migration, modernization, or cloud/SaaS transformation projects within complex enterprise environments is required.
• Experience overseeing software vendors, development teams, system integrators, and technical delivery partners.
• Ability to evaluate technical solutions and provide governance over application quality, security, performance, scalability, and operational readiness.
