IT Security Officer - Part-Time

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and security controls.
• Conduct security risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
• Support vulnerability management and security monitoring activities.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to strengthen the organisation's cybersecurity posture.
• Support security audits, awareness programmes, and cybersecurity initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT infrastructure security.
• Experience in security governance, risk management, security operations, incident response, or vulnerability management.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, security monitoring, IAM, and cloud security concepts.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, GCIH, GSEC, or CompTIA Security+.
