IT Support Assistant (ERP Project) Contract - Part-Time

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Assistant (6-Month Contract) to support our Odoo 19 ERP implementation. You will coordinate UAT, go-live and hypercare activities, track system defects, liaise with vendors, validate fixes, and prepare user guides and training materials. This is a project support role focused on digital transformation, not data entry.

This is a Contract for Service position. Salary/fees may differ depending on the job applicant's experience and knowledge.

Core Responsibilities:

• Log defects with clear, step-by-step reproduction details

• Track defects through to resolution and keep the defect log up to date

• Retest fixes once delivered and confirm resolution

• Chase and follow up on outstanding vendor deliverables and responses

• Prepare and maintain user guides and training materials across the different project stages

• Support UAT execution and go-live / hypercare activities as directed

• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the IT Manager

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in IT or business-related fields (or equivalent)

• Comfortable using business software and able to learn a new ERP system quickly

• Organised and detail-oriented in logging, tracking and retesting issues

• Clear written communication for documenting defects and steps to reproduce

• Basic spreadsheet skills; SQL or ERP exposure is a plus but not required

• Able to follow instructions and work well in a team

• Reliable, proactive and service-oriented
