Java Developer - Part-Time

Job Description 

·      We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with strong Java development experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications. 

·      The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions, ensuring adherence to coding standards, and supporting the complete software development lifecycle from design to deployment. 

Key Responsibilities 

·      Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into efficient program code. 

·      Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Java technologies. 

·      Ensure coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices are followed. 

·      Perform unit testing, support integration testing, system testing, UAT, and production implementation. 

·      Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs, and production incidents. 

·      Participate in requirements gathering, functional specification reviews, and peer code reviews. 

·      Prepare and maintain technical documentation and configuration records.

·      Collaborate with Business Analysts, Team Leads, and other stakeholders to deliver quality solutions. 

·      Support configuration management, change management, and audit activities. 

Required Qualifications 

·      Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

·      1–4 years of hands-on experience in Java application development. 

·      Strong knowledge of Java and enterprise application development. 

·      Experience with Spring Framework and Oracle Database. 

·      Knowledge of WebLogic Server, MyBatis, and JSP is an added advantage. 

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

·      Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Willingness to travel when required.
