Java Developer - Part-Time

Job Description

·      We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer with strong Java development skills to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications. 

·      The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business and technical requirements into high-quality software solutions while ensuring adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities 

·      Analyse functional and technical specifications and translate them into efficient program code Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services 

·      Ensure coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines are followed 

·      Perform unit testing, debugging, and defect fixing to ensure application quality 

·      Support integration testing, system testing, UAT, and production implementation activities 

·      Investigate and resolve application issues and production defects 

·      Participate in configuration management, system enhancements, and maintenance activities 

·      Prepare and maintain technical and system documentation 

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions 

Requirements & Qualifications 

·      Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field 1–4 years of software development experience 

·      Strong hands-on experience in Java development Familiarity with Spring Boot and JSP Knowledge of WebLogic and AWS is an added advantage 

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

·      Good communication skills in written and spoken English Willingness to travel when required
