Java (Full Stack) Developer - Part-Time

          Job Description

·      We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable software and web applications for the Financial Industry and MAS Financial Supervision functions. 

·      The role involves working within an Agile environment to build secure, high-performance applications using modern backend and frontend technologies. 

Key Responsibilities 

·      Develop and maintain microservices-based applications using Java, Node.js, and REST APIs. 

·      Implement event-driven architecture and reusable backend services. 

·      Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using React.js and Next.js. 

·      Work with AWS cloud services such as S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB. 

·      Containerize applications using Docker and ensure scalable deployments. 

·      Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth and security best practices. 

·      Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. 

·      Write unit tests using Jest and maintain reusable UI components using Storybook. 

·      Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across the full stack. 

Requirements 

·      Proven experience as a Full Stack Java Developer or similar role. 

·      Strong hands-on experience in Java and microservices architecture. 

·      Experience with React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. 

·      Familiarity with Docker, AWS services, and event-driven architecture. 

·      Good understanding of security practices, OAuth, and RESTful API development. 

·      Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
