Junior Data Engineer / Datawarehouse Engineer (Contract) - Part-Time

Job details:

· Junior Data Engineer with Minimum 2 years of IT working experience.

· Proficient in complex SQLs, Stored Procedures Hands-on experience in Teradata Data base will be an advantage.

· Knowledge in Data Warehousing/Big Data and working experience of ETL tools like Talend, Informatica, Ab Initio, DataStage etc.

· Well versed with Unix commands and scripting.

· Good knowledge of scheduling tools (Control M, Autosys etc..).

· Strong familiarity of SDLC process, preferably Agile methodologies.

· Good Communication and presentation skills.

· The ability to communicate with Business Analysts, Data Modelers and Solution Architects when it comes to converting the design into specific data pipeline activities.

· To assist in the ongoing development of technical best practices for data loading, data quality, data cleansing and other data-related activities.

· Creating documentation, conducting testing, deliver codes with utmost quality.

Requirements:

· A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

· Knowledge of Banking systems is a plus.

· Analytical and systematic thinking with methodical organization.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Knowledge of different programming languages is beneficial.
