Junior Full Stack Engineer - Part-Time

Role Summary

We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer to support and enhance business-critical applications using React and Java technologies. You will be involved in both development and production support activities, working closely with developers, business users, and infrastructure teams to ensure application stability, performance, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain web applications using React and Java (Spring Boot).
• Support and troubleshoot production issues, incidents, and application defects.
• Perform bug fixes, system enhancements, and production deployments.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs between frontend and backend systems.
• Monitor application health and ensure system stability and performance.
• Investigate root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation activities.
• Support ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• 1 year of experience in Full-Stack Development and/or Application Support.
• Hands-on experience with:React.jsJavaSpring Boot / Spring MVCREST APIsSQL databases
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting production applications and resolving incidents.
• Familiarity with Git and software development best practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AWS services (SQS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, AWS SDK).
• Experience with Kafka or AWS MSK.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Maven, SonarQube, JUnit, or Mockito.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Exposure to Government sector projects or legacy applications.

• 12-month renewable contract
