Junior RPA & AI Automation Developer - Part-Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain automation workflows using UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, or similar platforms.

• Build bots and automation workflows for business processes involving web applications, desktop applications, Excel, emails, PDFs, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.

• Support AI Agent and Agentic Automation use cases including task execution, decision support, document understanding, process routing, and human-in-the-loop approvals.

• Work with UiPath Orchestrator and UiPath Maestro for workflow orchestration, monitoring, queue management, scheduling, deployment, exception handling, and operational support.

• Understand business requirements from PDD, SDD, process flows, and user discussions, and convert them into scalable technical automation solutions.

• Integrate automations with REST APIs, SQL databases, AI/LLM services, document processing tools, and enterprise applications.

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, debugging, production deployment, post-deployment support, and issue resolution.

• Implement proper exception handling, logging, retry mechanisms, audit trails, version control, and bot monitoring for reliable production operations.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design documents, test cases, deployment notes, support guides, user manuals, and change records.

• Collaborate with business analysts, process owners, senior developers, automation architects, AI teams, infrastructure teams, and application teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Hands-on RPA development experience using UiPath or similar RPA tools, with good understanding of REFramework, queues, assets, triggers, credentials, logging, and exception handling.

• Exposure to UiPath Maestro, AI Agents, Agentic Automation, LLM-based automation, workflow orchestration, or AI-enabled business process automation.

• Experience with Excel automation, email automation, web automation, PDF/document processing, API integration, and database operations.

• Basic programming knowledge in Python, VB.NET, C#, JavaScript, macros, or equivalent scripting languages.

• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, SQL, databases, SDLC, Git/version control, coding standards, testing, deployment, and production support.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills with a positive learning attitude.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• UiPath Developer Certification or equivalent RPA certification.

• Exposure to UiPath Document Understanding, AI Center, Action Center, Apps, Integration Service, Communications Mining, or Maestro.

• Basic understanding of Generative AI, prompt-based automation, AI copilots, agent orchestration, human approval workflows, security, access control, audit, and monitoring.
