Junior Test Engineer - Part-Time

Responsible for supporting the design,development, and execution of automated test scripts to ensure softwarequality, while learning industry-standard tools and frameworks under theguidance of senior test engineers. This role is hands-on coding with testingdiscipline, making it ideal for early-career professionals aiming to specializein automation.

Purpose:

To assist in building and maintainingautomated test suites that validate software functionality and reliability. Therole emphasizes learning automation frameworks, scripting, and collaboratingwith developers to improve product quality.

Responsibilities

·      Design and implement automated test cases (new and existing features)

·      Develop and maintain test frameworks in Selenium or Playwright

·      Execute test automation created in Local or Pipeline run

·      Collaborate with Dev and QA team for test automation development

·      Perform exploratory and Regression testing for bug validation and new features

·      Documents test results and defect reporting

·      Contribute to CI/CD pipeline through automation test

·      Maintain and extend test tool and test automation created

Qualifications and skills

·      Bachelor's degree in related fields such IT, or Computer Science

·      Technical skills

o  Basic programing skills especially javascript/typescript

o  Familiarities in Selenium and Playwright

o  Understanding in CI/CD tools (Jenkins,GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

·      Soft skills

o  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

o  Attention to detail specially in Quality

o  Great communication skills and teamwork skills

·      Experience:

o  Internship or 0-2 years’ experience in software testing and automation development

Nice to have:

ISTQB certified Foundation level

ISTQB certified test automation engineer
