Lead QA Engineer - Part-Time

Job Responsibilities:

• As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for using quality processes, automation tools (optional) , and methodologies to transform testing products and solutions.
• You will run the end-to-end quality engineering function with a focus on automation to improve control, accuracy, and integrity.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
• Providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams is a vital part of this role.
• Intermediate proficiency in Technical Test Execution is required.
• Advanced proficiency in System Defect Management is recommended.
• Develop and implement automated testing strategies to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve testing processes and product performance.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation within the development lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and proposing innovative solutions in testing practices.
• Optional- Mentor and guide team members to build expertise in automation tools and quality engineering methodologies.
   

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience in test strategy, test planning, and end-to-end test execution cross complex enterprise applications.
• Proven expertise in defect management, root cause analysis (RCA), defect lifecycle management, and driving quality improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business, development, and QA teams while promoting a strong quality-first mindset.
• Hands-on experience in test automation using industry-standard automation frameworks and tools is highly preferred (good to have).
