Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Analyst - Part-Time

We are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Business Analyst with deep experience in Project Operations to be based in Singapore. The position focuses on bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate project centric business requirements into efficient, scalable D365 solutions.

Role Overview

• Primary Objective: To translate project-centric requirements—such as resource management, billing, and scheduling—into scalable D365 solutions.

• Scope: Provides end-to-end support through the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, UAT, and post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements & Analysis: Leading workshops to define "To-Be" processes for project-based services.

• Solution Design: Defining functional specifications ($FDD/FRD$) and configuring modules like Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), costing, and fixed-price or time-and-materials billing.

• Technical Integration: Supporting dual-write functionality to connect Project Operations with D365 Finance or other ERP systems.

• Documentation & Training: Managing Azure DevOps for requirements and creating training materials to drive user adoption.

Requirements

• Experience: 3–5+ years as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years specifically in D365 Project Operations or Professional Service Automation (PSA) tools.

• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of D365 modules (Sales, Resource Management, Project Accounting) and familiarity with the Power Platform.
  

• D365 Knowledge: Deep understanding of D365 Project Operations modules Management, Project Delivery, and Project Accounting.

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB-500, MB-300) and an understanding of financial accounting principles like IFRS or GAAP.

• Successful delivery of work streams within scope and budget.

• High user adoption rates and streamlined invoicing and scheduling processes.
