Microsoft Windows Engineer - Part-Time

Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute the bank-developed scripts to uninstall the existing APEX agent and install the new endpoint agent.

• Validate successful agent deployment and ensure systems are functioning as expected after installation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows operating system issues that may impact the agent deployment process.

• Investigate deployment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

• Work closely with the Bank's infrastructure and security teams to ensure a timely and successful rollout.

• Maintain deployment status, document issues encountered and provide regular progress updates.

• Perform deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting activities during off-business hours, including nights, weekends and scheduled maintenance windows, as most of the Bank's server maintenance activities are conducted outside normal business hours.

Skills/Requirement

• Min Diploma or above is required.

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 administration.

• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.

• Knowledge of Hyper-V and/or VMware vSphere.

• Experience with Windows Server patch management using WSUS, SCCM, or Microsoft Configuration Manager.

• Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), hybrid identity, and Microsoft 365 integration.
