MS Dynamics 365 Business Central - Senior Software Developer Contract - Part-Time

Job Scope:

• Implement, configure, customize, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
• Gather and analyse business requirements, conduct workshops, and prepare functional specifications.
• Configure and support Business Central modules, including Finance, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Service Management.
• Support finance processes such as budgeting, financial reporting, bank reconciliation, statutory reporting, tax processes, and month-end and year-end closing.
• Develop and maintain Business Central customizations and extensions using AL programming.
• Design reports and dashboards using Power BI and support integrations with external systems through APIs, web services, and related technologies.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Provide user training, documentation, and technical guidance to support solution adoption.
• Recommend process improvements and best practices to optimize system performance and business operations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant work experience.
• 5-6 years of experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Solid knowledge of Business Central functional modules, particularly Finance.
• Experience with AL programming, Business Central extensions, and Power BI reporting.
• Knowledge of Business Central integrations using APIs, web services, or XML-based technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferably with the following Certification/s

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate or an equivalent Microsoft Dynamics certification.
