MS Dynamics Consultant - Part-Time

Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Consultant to support the enhancement, maintenance, and upgrade of enterprise Microsoft Dynamics applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable business solutions while ensuring compliance with enterprise IT governance and best practices.

This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics, cloud platform upgrades, system integrations, and enterprise application support.

Do note that this is a 6 months contract role.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, maintain, and support Microsoft Dynamics applications in an enterprise environment.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver effective business solutions.
• Plan and execute Microsoft Dynamics platform upgrades, including cutover planning, rollback procedures, and post-upgrade validation.
• Enhance and maintain system integrations with enterprise applications and third-party platforms.
• Perform application maintenance, security patching, system monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Conduct Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality.
• Provide ongoing operational support, troubleshoot production issues, and optimise system performance.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and user guides to support implementation and ongoing maintenance.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics consulting, implementation, or development.
• Strong experience designing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics solutions within enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly versions v8.x and v9.x.
• Proven experience planning and executing Microsoft Dynamics upgrades and migrations.
• Solid understanding of enterprise application support, including incident, problem, and change management based on ITIL practices.
• Experience performing Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT, with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across both business and technical teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in public sector or highly regulated enterprise environments.
• Exposure to Government Commercial Cloud (GCC/GCC+) or other enterprise cloud platforms.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications or other relevant Microsoft certifications.
• Experience with enterprise system integrations and secure data exchange solutions.
• Knowledge of IT governance, security best practices, and application lifecycle management.
