Murex Test Manager - Part-Time

Lead testing delivery for large-scale Murex programs within banking and capital markets environments. Responsible for test strategy, team leadership, stakeholder management, and ensuring high-quality system delivery across the full testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the overall test strategy and testing approach for Murex projects.
• Lead end-to-end testing including SIT, UAT, regression, performance, and production readiness activities.
• Manage and mentor testing teams to ensure quality delivery and adherence to best practices.
• Work closely with business users, developers, and vendors to validate requirements and resolve issues.
• Drive defect management, prioritization, and resolution across multiple workstreams.
• Provide regular status updates, test metrics, and risk reporting to stakeholders and project leadership.
• Ensure testing activities meet regulatory and governance requirements within banking environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of testing experience within banking or capital markets.
• 5+ years of hands-on Murex (MX.3) experience.
• Proven experience leading testing teams on Murex implementations, upgrades, or transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of financial products such as FX, Interest Rate Derivatives, Equities, or Fixed Income.
• Experience in test management, defect tracking, stakeholder communication, and reporting.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

This is an initial 12-months contract role.
