Network & System Administrator (Contract) - Part-Time

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Network & System Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring high system availability, network security, and reliable day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches, and network infrastructure.
• Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365.
• Monitor server performance, network availability, and system health to ensure maximum uptime.
• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Perform routine system maintenance, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery testing.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including endpoint protection, firewall policies, and access controls.
• Support cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, email systems, and IT asset inventory.
• Work with vendors and service providers for hardware procurement, maintenance, and technical support.
• Prepare and maintain system documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, and technical reports.
• Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and technology implementations.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in system integrator / campus support environment
• Strong knowledge of:

- Windows Server Administration

- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy

- Microsoft 365 Administration

- VMware or Hyper-VTCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, Routing & Switching

- Firewall administration (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Sophos, or similar)

- Backup and disaster recovery solutions
