Oracle Database Administrator - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Oracle 19c Multitenant databases.
• Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Disaster Recovery environments.
• Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
• Implement backup, recovery, and failover solutions using RMAN and Data Guard.
• Support Oracle GoldenGate, Advanced Security, Database Vault, Audit Vault, and Flashback.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues across storage, OS, ASM, and networking.
• Develop automation scripts using UNIX/Linux shell scripting and Ansible.
• Support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Microsoft Azure, and other databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, MS SQL).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle 19c, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and GoldenGate.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux administration and scripting.
• Knowledge of OCI, Azure, Ansible, GitLab, and Oracle security features.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
