OutSystems Developer - Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing web and mobile applications using the OutSystems platform to support various business processes and service delivery requirements.
• Work closely with product teams, business analysts, and stakeholders across to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
• Design, develop and deploy user interfaces, workflows and integrations for business  operations and service delivery purposes.
• Support the building of application integrations that connect multiple platforms and external systems.
• Help maintain application architecture and infrastructure to support operational, reporting, and analytical workloads across the ecosystem.
• Implement application testing, validation, and optimisation processes to ensure application quality and performance.
• Monitor applications and systems to identify potential issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Support the maintenance of OutSystems applications supporting digital products.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues.
• Create and maintain documentation of application development processes and system configurations.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant education qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical fields
• 3–5 years of experience in OutSystems solution delivery.
• Experience delivering applications in public sector projects preferred.
• OutSystems related certifications preferred.
• Understanding of application architecture and design patterns within OutSystems.
• Proficiency in OutSystems development including web services integration and API development concepts and processes.
• Knowledge of database systems, both relational and non-relational, and their query languages.
•  Familiarity with AWS cloud services such asS3, Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Understanding application security, access controls, and logging.
• Exposure to version control systems such as Git and CI/CD practices.
