Patching Engineer - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Execute patching activities across RHEL and Windows Server environments.
• Deploy security patches and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Manage patch schedules, baselines, and maintenance windows.
• Support physical, virtual, clustered, and cloud-based server infrastructure.
• Utilize tools such as Tanium and BMC True Sight for patch deployment and automation.
• Troubleshoot patching issues and coordinate with infrastructure, engineering, and application teams.
• Manage change, incident, and problem records via ServiceNow.
• Maintain patching documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Support weekend maintenance and patching activities when required

RequiredSkills & Experience

• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and/or Windows Server administration.
• Strong understanding of patch management processes and best practices.
• Experience in enterprise-scale server environments.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and ITSM processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
