Performance Test Engineer - Part-Time

Looking for a Performance Test Engineer to support performance testing activities for enterprise applications. You will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure systems meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop performance test plans, test scenarios, and workload models.
• Create and maintain automated performance test scripts using k6 (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Perform load, stress, spike, endurance, scalability, and capacity testing.
• Analyse test results and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Work with developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
• Prepare test environments and test data to support performance testing.
• Support performance testing activities for system enhancements and new releases.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in software performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with k6.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or InfluxDB.
• Experience with JMeter, Gatling, or Locust is an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
