Role: Platform Engineer

Job Summary

As a Platform Engineer you will be responsible for building and maintaining the foundational infrastructure and tools that enable scalable secure and efficient software development and deployment. You'll work closely with development DevOps and security teams to ensure platform reliability and performance

Key Responsibilities

Design build and maintain cloud native infrastructure using tools like Terraform Kubernetes and Docker Develop automation scripts and CICD pipelines to streamline deployment processes

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across environments Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with internal policies Collaborate with software engineers to optimize application performance on the platform

Maintain documentation and provide support for platform related tools and services

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field

2-4 years of experience in platform engineering DevOps or infrastructure roles

Proficiency with cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools Docker Kubernetes

Strong scripting skills Python Bash etc

Familiarity with monitoring tools Prometheus Grafana ELK stack

Preferred Skills

Experience with Infrastructure as Code Terraform CloudFormation Knowledge of networking and security principles

Exposure to Agile Scrum methodologies Strong problem solving and communication skills
