Product Manager (Digital Products Government Technology) - Part-Time

partnering with a leading public sector organisation to hire an experienced Product Manager to drive the development and enhancement of digital products that support Singapore's business ecosystem.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital transformation, product innovation, data-driven decision making, and delivering secure, user-centric digital services. You'll work alongside business stakeholders, engineers, designers, and vendors to build impactful products used by businesses nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Translate business objectives into actionable product plans and prioritised backlogs.
• Drive product adoption through effective go-to-market planning and stakeholder engagement.

Product Delivery

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital products from ideation through implementation and continuous improvement.
• Gather and prioritise business requirements, validate solutions, and enhance user experience through iterative development.
• Manage product budgets, timelines, vendors, and delivery milestones.

Product Operations

• Ensure operational stability, availability, and performance of existing digital platforms.
• Coordinate production releases, maintenance activities, incident management, and service improvements.
• Monitor service performance and drive continuous optimisation.

Data & Analytics

• Leverage analytics and user insights to make informed product decisions.
• Partner with data teams to establish reporting frameworks, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Translate data into actionable product enhancements and business value.

Security & Governance

• Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure products comply with security and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate security assessments including Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT), Source Code Review (SCR), and performance testing.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and industry best practices.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Collaborate with business users, developers, designers, architects, and external vendors throughout the product lifecycle.
• Facilitate workshops, project meetings, and steering committee updates.
• Manage vendor performance and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, IT Business Analysis, Solution Design or Digital Product Delivery.
• Experience managing digital products throughout their full product lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and product management practices.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, UX designers and vendors.
• Experience managing operational support, production releases and incident resolution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
