Project Manager (Purview) Contract - Part-Time

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale banking and data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Microsoft Purview and a proven track record of managing end-to-end project delivery within financial institutions. This role requires excellent governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills to ensure successful outcomes in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver large-scale initiatives in banking and financial services with a focus on data governance and compliance.
• Manage Microsoft Purview projects including data catalogue, information protection, and compliance frameworks.
• Engage stakeholders across business, technology, security, and data teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Oversee governance and risk including budgeting, risk mitigation, and reporting mechanisms
• Lead Agile/Waterfall delivery ensuring structured execution and adaptability across methodologies.
• Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive adoption and success.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is required
• 8+ years of Project Management experience in Banking/Financial Services.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Purview, data governance, data catalogue, compliance, and information protection initiatives.
• Experience managing stakeholders across business, technology, security, and data teams.
• Excellent governance, risk management, budgeting, and reporting skills.
• Experience leading Agile and/or Waterfall projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
