Python Developer - Part-Time

Job Summary

You will develop and maintain full-stack banking applications, delivering robust backend services and engaging frontend interfaces. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions that meet regulatory and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based backend services to support banking applications
• Design and implement full-stack solutions combining frontend and backend components
• Write complex SQL queries to optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues in relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
• Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices to enable seamless integration across systems
• Develop responsive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Apply version control using Git and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver iterative software improvements
• Analyze, debug, and resolve technical issues to ensure application stability and performance
• Apply knowledge of banking processes and regulatory requirements to develop compliant enterprise applications
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates
• Adapt to a fast-paced enterprise banking environment while working independently and proactively

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to DevOps practices to enhance software delivery and infrastructure management
