Python Developer - Part-Time

Job Summary

Develop and maintain robust banking and financial services applications using Python and full stack technologies. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable REST APIs and microservices, ensuring high performance and compliance with banking regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python applications to support banking and financial services solutions.
• Design and implement full stack features, including frontend and backend components, to enhance user experience and system functionality.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to ensure efficient database performance across relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices to support modular and scalable application architecture.
• Utilize modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js to develop responsive user interfaces.
• Apply version control using Git and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver iterative software improvements and respond to changing requirements.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve technical issues to maintain application stability and performance.
• Apply knowledge of banking processes and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance in software solutions.
• Manage stakeholder communications effectively to align development efforts with business needs.
• Adapt to fast-paced enterprise banking environments by proactively identifying and addressing challenges.
• Work independently with a self-driven and proactive approach to meet project goals.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
• Exposure to DevOps practices to enhance development and operational workflows.
