QA Engineer – Avaloq, CargoWise & Banking Applications - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and translatethem into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT),End-to-End Testing, and Regression Testing.
• Validate banking and wealth management workflows, transactions, and systemintegrations.
• Perform API and interface testing to ensure seamless integration betweenapplications.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, andstakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in requirement workshops, impact assessments, and solution reviewsessions.
• Prepare test plans, test reports, and testing documentation in accordancewith project standards.
• Support release activities and ensure successful deployment of systemenhancements.
• Conduct functional walkthroughs, knowledge transfer sessions, and usertraining where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and testing best practices.
• Provide regular project updates, risk assessments, and testing status reportsto stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and QualityAssurance.
• Strong experience in SIT, UAT, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, andEnd-to-End Testing.
• Hands-on experience with banking, financial services, or wealth managementapplications.
• Exposure to Avaloq or similar core banking platforms is highly preferred.
• Experience in API testing, integration testing, and defect management.
• Strong understanding in Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TFS,or similar platforms.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and assess system impacts.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops, user training, and knowledge transfersessions.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent testing certification is an addedadvantage.
