QA Lead (12 Months) - Part-Time

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION:      QA Lead (12 months)

REPORTINGSTRUCTURE
Report to Senior Deputy Director, LawNet Technology Services

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own end-to-end QA strategy across major applications.

- Define and continuously improve test coverage, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.

- Collaborate closely with project managers, product managers, engineers, and domain stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust test scenarios and acceptance criteria.

- Establish and enforce QA governance, standards, and processes to ensure consistency, traceability, and auditability of testing activities.

- Lead defect management, including triage, prioritisation, root cause analysis, and verification of fixes.

- Design and implement test automation strategies to improve efficiency, coverage, and repeatability across systems.

- Oversee performance and reliability testing, including defining benchmarks, analysing results, and identifying bottlenecks.

KEY SPECIFICATIONS
Candidates must have the following: 

- Degree in Computer Science / Studies / Engineering or Information Systems or equivalent.

- Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Software Testing lead or similar.

- Experience creating test plans, implementing test automation, performance, and stress testing.

- Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
