IONIC 5 Developer

ABOUT ACTIVE8ME

Active8me is an exciting startup focused on the digital fitness and health space. Getting Asia fit, healthy and active again and also providing a preventative health solution for tackling chronic diseases like obesity and diabetes. Like a PT, dietician and life coach in your pocket, we provide comprehensive guidance and programs around exercise, nutrition, mindset and holistic health. There is nothing like us in Asia and we are scalable elsewhere. We are posed to capitalise on the growth in this space in the coming years. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain our Angular/Ionic 1 hybrid application
• Build innovative, exceptional and well-engineered mobile applications with intuitive, well-designed user interfaces.
• Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, documentation, tools, and best practices.
   

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years experience in Software Development with at least 1+ year of experience developing mobile applications using the Ionic framework for Android and iOS
• Strong knowledge of the Ionic framework including:

 - Angular 12+

 - Javascript

 - Capacitor

 - Native plugin development experience (nice to have) 

 - Knowledge of Payment Systems implementation (Google/Apple)

 - Android and iOS platforms and mobile development

 - REST API's

 - HTML

 - CSS

• Published examples of mobile applications on the App store and the Android market built in Ionic.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience managing projects using Jira and Git. We use Shortcut and Github

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in B2B SAAS platforms is highly preferred.
• Experience in developments with high traffic and high data usage is a plus.
• Health data integration knowledge (Google fit / Apple health)

Can be remote. The company is Singapore based.
