Research Associate & Software Developer Intern - Part-Time

We are an executive search firm seeking a hybrid Research Associate & Software Developer Intern to support both our search delivery and internal technology development. This dual-function role sits at the intersection of talent intelligence and tech-driven innovation — ideal for someone with strong analytical instincts and a hands-on approach to building tools.

You will spend roughly equal time on executive search research and developing internal platforms, automation, and data systems that power our recruitment operations.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Search Research (50%)

• Conduct market mapping and talent landscaping across financial services sectors (banking, wealth management, funds, insurance)
• Identify, profile, and qualify senior candidates through desk research, database mining, and direct outreach
• Compile candidate long lists, organisational charts, and competitor intelligence
• Support consultants with pitch preparation, client briefings, and market insights
• Maintain and enrich the internal candidate and client database
• Track industry movements, appointments, and market developments across Asia

Technology & Development (50%)

• Develop and maintain internal web applications and dashboards for recruiters
• Build automation tools to streamline candidate sourcing, screening, and reporting
• Assist in integrating APIs (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, CRM systems)
• Work with structured and unstructured data to improve search insights
• Support development of AI/ML-driven features (e.g., resume parsing, candidate matching)
• Collaborate with consultants to translate workflow needs into practical tech solutions
• Debug, test, and optimise system performance
