Salesforce Developer - Part-Time

Job Description

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and enhance Salesforce-based solutions that meet business and technical requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, functional consultants, business analysts, and project teams to deliver scalable, high-quality Salesforce applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, OmniScript, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Collaborate with solution architects, functional consultants, and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Configure Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflows, and related platform features where required.
• Participate in solution design discussions and recommend technical improvements or alternative approaches.
• Ensure all development follows established coding standards, governance, and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including technical specifications and deployment documents.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and production issues promptly.
• Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support deployment activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Development.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification and Salesforce Administrator certification are required.
• Experience developing with:Apex ClassesApex TriggersLightning Web Components (LWC)VisualforceOmniStudio (preferred)
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform configuration and customization.
• Knowledge of Salesforce deployment processes, release management, and CI/CD tools is an advantage.
• Understanding of software development methodologies and project lifecycle.
• Experience working on Government or Public Sector projects will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
