Senior Data Analyst – Insurance Analytics & BI - Part-Time

• Develop and maintain enterprise reporting solutions and business intelligence dashboards for insurance operations. 

• Analyze insurance data across policy, claims, underwriting, customer, finance, actuarial, and regulatory domains. 

• Design and deliver interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Qlik Sense/QlikView, and Tableau. 

• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data-driven insights. 

• Develop KPI dashboards covering premium growth, loss ratio, claims performance, underwriting profitability, customer analytics, and operational metrics. 

• Build and optimize data models, reporting layers, and self-service analytics capabilities. 

• Work with Microsoft Fabric components including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, One Lake, Dataflows Gen2, Semantic Models, Notebooks, and Pipelines. 

• Support data integration, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, data quality, reconciliation, and governance initiatives. 

• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, actuarial, finance, risk, compliance, and technology teams. 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting. 

• Hands-on experience in to BFSI domain  

• Strong experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Qlik Sense/QlikView, and Tableau. 

•  Strong SQL development skills with experience in query optimization. 

• Good understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, ETL/ELT, and Data Governance concepts. 

• Experience with Azure Data Services and cloud analytics platforms. 

• Knowledge of KPIs such as GWP, NWP, Loss Ratio, Combined Ratio, Claims Leakage, Claims Turnaround Time, and Customer Retention Metrics. 

• Experience with Python, Spark, Databricks, or Machine Learning will be an added advantage. 

• Relevant certifications in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Engineering, Tableau, Qlik, or Insurance domain are preferred.
