Senior DevOps Engineer - Part-Time

Key Responsibiities:

• Design and build automated code deployment systems that simplify development work and make our work more consistent and predictable. You’ll do this by orchestrating environment deployment from OS all the way through the application layers of a solution, using tools such as Docker, GITHUB, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Nexus OSS, Ansible

• Should have hands-on experience with automating systems and environment deployments using DevOps Tools

• Hands on experience in Kubernetes installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting in Cloud and On-Premise environments.

• Hands on experience in Docker installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting in Cloud and On-Premise environments.

• Hands on experience in Jenkins and its Architecture to scale to large build execution architectures

• Hands on experience in creating Groovy based Jenkins Pipelines for CI/CD

• Should have good experience automating deployment of part of or entire CI/CD pipeline.

• Working Knowledge in Middleware technology

• Experience using Ansible playbooks and Roles for performing Server and Application Automation

• Good hands on experience in Linux OS and scripting

• Hands-on experience with Rancher and RKE Kubernetes

• Managing production/UAT infrastructure with Terraform Scripts

• Identify opportunities to deliver self service capability for the most common infrastructure and application management tasks

• Create automated tests that easily plug into our automated code pipeline

• Provide deep and detailed levels of monitoring across all levels of the application

• Good hands-on knowledge on testing tools like Junit and Selenium

• Improve the predictability and reliability of software releases with the implementation of automated build, test and deployment tools and processes.

• Utilizing AWS Cloud services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, RDS, VPC, LAMBDA, SQS, SNS, EKS, Load Balancers, CloudWatch, API Gateway, etc.

• Automating software builds and deployment-to-development and production systems

• Overseeing configuration management and moderating using various automation tools

• 7 to 10yrs of experience
