Senior IT Assistant/Officer (1 Year Contract) - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage IT operations, including network infrastructure, servers, backup systems, and hardware/software.
• Implement system improvements and handle critical IT tasks to support daily operations.
• Manage IT hardware assets and software licence inventory.
• Install, configure, and provide support for workstations, printers, phones, and related peripherals.
• Implement software applications and upgrades, troubleshooting performance issues as needed.
• Assist the IT Team Leader in developing and maintaining IT policies and procedures.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and operations.
• Proficient in basic administration of systems and servers, including phone systems, wireless networks, and enterprise applications such as Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with current equipment, technologies, and enterprise backup and recovery procedures.
• Experience supporting video conferencing systems, mobile devices, and Linux is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of databases, cybersecurity, and cloud computing is beneficial.
