Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team for a long-term onsite engagement in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using Java and modern microservices architecture. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, hands-on development experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance Java-based applications.
Build and maintain scalable microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development and production environments.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Manage source code and CI/CD processes using Git and build tools.

Required Skills & Experience
 10+ years hands-on experience in Java application development.
Strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE, and object-oriented programming principles.
Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Web Services, and API Integration.
Experience with SQL databases and database design concepts.
Proficiency in Git, Maven, and/or Gradle.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
