Senior Network Engineer - 12 Months Contract I Government Sector - Part-Time

If you have strong hands-on network engineering experience and want to contribute to Singapore's public transport infrastructure, apply now. and join us to Bus ETA team to design, operate, and maintain the network infrastructure powering Singapore's public transport real-time information system.

What you'll do:

• Design, configure, and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and network infrastructure for the Bus ETA service

• Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, and leased-line connectivity with telecom providers

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues affecting ETA data transmission

• Configure network redundancy, routing policies, and failover mechanisms

• Implement security controls and network hardening measures

• Support data centre cabling, equipment lifecycle, and network changes

• Maintain network diagrams, configuration backups, and technical documentation

• Participate in 24/7 standby support for critical network incidents

What we're looking for:

• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching)

• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or equivalent platforms

• Understanding of high-availability network architecture and redundancy design

• Experience working with telecom carriers and leased-line services

• Strong analytical and incident management skills

Work schedule: Mon–Thu 8:30am–6:00pm, Fri 8:30am–5:30pm. 24/7 standby on-call for critical incidents.

Contract: 12 months | Onsite | Up to $6,600/month
