Senior Pega Developer (PRPC, Banking Domain, Kafka) - Part-Time

Job Summary

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications on the Pega Platform, delivering business-critical case management and workflow automation solutions. Collaborate in Agile teams to support integrations, upgrades, and production environments in the Banking and Financial Services domain.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Pega PRPC / Pega Platform to meet business needs
• Build and enhance case management and workflow automation solutions for critical business applications
• Develop and support integrations with external enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, SQL services, and REST APIs
• Lead Pega upgrade and migration activities to ensure platform stability and compliance
• Design and implement customer onboarding and digital onboarding platforms using modern headless architecture
• Develop and maintain KYC and CLM applications supporting compliance and customer lifecycle management
• Configure and customize Pega components including Activities, Flows, Decision Rules, Declarative Rules, Report Definitions, and List Views
• Perform Pega UI development using sections, harnesses, layouts, and responsive user interface components
• Integrate Kafka messaging and enterprise workflow for real-time communication and processing
• Support production environments by managing incidents, resolving defects, troubleshooting, and performing BAU support
• Conduct requirement analysis, estimate effort, design technical solutions, and assess impact for change requests and enhancements
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, architects, and stakeholders in Agile delivery environments
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Jira-based project tracking
• Manage release activities including deployment support and post-production validation
• Develop and optimize database interactions using SQL and Oracle Database technologies
• Ensure compliance with enterprise coding standards, security practices, and Pega best practices

Required competencies and certifications

• 12+ years of hands-on experience in Pega PRPC and Pega Platform development and support
• Certified in Pega PRPC
• Experience in Pega Case Management, workflow automation, and business process management solutions
• Proven experience in Banking & Financial Services or Insurance domain projects
• Skilled in Pega Integration using REST, SOAP, SQL services, and external APIs
• Experience in Pega Upgrade & Migration projects
• Experience in Pega Production Support, incident management, and defect resolution
• Hands-on experience in Pega UI Development and rule customization
• Experience in KYC/CLM applications and customer onboarding solutions
• Proficient in Java, SQL, and Oracle Database
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira
• Skilled in configuring Activities, Flows, Decision Rules, Declarative Rules, Report Definitions, and List Views
• Experience in Kafka messaging integration and enterprise integration frameworks
• Experience in headless application development and digital workflow platforms
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
