Senior Software Developer - Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Create high-level and low-level technical designs based on business requirements
• Perform impact analysis for new features and system changes
• Lead requirements gathering and translate them into technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members
• Conduct code reviews and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine system solutions
• Contribute to system integration and performance optimization
• Support deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of applications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in backend application development
• Strong proficiency in:

• Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA

  Microservices and event-driven architecture

• Experience with database technologies: Oracle, MSSQL, or MongoDB
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Strong knowledge of system design (HLD/LLD) and architecture principles
• Experience in technical leadership / mentoring
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Frontend exposure (Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Experience in CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of version control (Git, SVN)
• Experience in large-scale enterprise or government systems
• Familiarity with Linux environments

• Experience in insurance, tax, or public sector systems
• Exposure to domain-driven design (DDD)
• Experience working in Agile environments
