Senior Technical Business Analyst - Part-Time

You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, architects, and vendors to analyse business requirements, design digital solutions, and ensure successful implementation.

Candidates with experience in student placement systems, government or education sector projects, and AI/LLM-enabled solutions will have an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements with stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Recommend digital solutions aligned with business objectives and technology best practices.
• Work closely with project managers, solution architects, developers, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support solution testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
• Analyse change requests and recommend continuous improvements.
• Review technical deliverables and ensure solution quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through digital technologies and AI-enabled solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Technical Business Analysis or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/DevOps practices.
• Experience preparing business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Technical Business Analysis for enterprise digital systems.
• Student placement or education-related business processes.
• Government or public sector projects.
• AI or Large Language Model (LLM) solutions, including prompt engineering or AI-assisted workflows.
• Code review and quality assurance using GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar tools.
• System log analysis and troubleshooting using tools such as ELK Stack, Splunk, or similar monitoring platforms.
