ServiceNow Engineer - Part-Time

ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in ITSM, ITAM, and CMDB modules, along with the ability to develop custom applications, automate workflows, and integrate ServiceNow with enterprise systems. The role requires strong scripting capabilities using JavaScript and Glide API, experience with REST/SOAP integrations, and a good understanding of ITIL processes and SDLC methodologies. Candidates should be capable of troubleshooting platform issues, optimizing performance, supporting releases, and working closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions.

ServiceNow Development – Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing, configuring, customizing, deploying, and supporting the ServiceNow platform in enterprise environments. Platform administration alone is not sufficient.

ServiceNow ITSM (Incident, Problem & Change Management) – Strong hands-on implementation and enhancement experience across core ITSM modules, including workflow development, process automation, and platform customization.

ServiceNow ITAM & CMDB – Practical experience implementing and supporting IT Asset Management and CMDB, including Configuration Items (CI), asset lifecycle management, CI relationships, Discovery, and CMDB governance.

ServiceNow Scripting (JavaScript & Glide API) – Strong development experience using JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, Data Policies, and Catalog Items to build custom solutions.

ServiceNow Integrations – Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, MID Server, Integration Hub, or similar integration technologies.

Workflow Automation & Platform Configuration – Experience automating business processes through Flow Designer, workflows, service catalog development, data imports, transformation maps, and platform configuration.

ITIL Framework & IT Operations – Good understanding of ITIL processes and their implementation within ServiceNow, including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Configuration Management.

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) – Experience participating in requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, release management, and production support using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
