Site Reliability Engineer #IKR - Part-Time

Responsibilities:

• The candidate will be responsible for automating deployments of various infrastructure deployment elements using VMware vRealize Automation and Orchestration
• An understanding of infrastructure elements and deployment architecture is required.
• A strong programming background and ability to deliver successful outcomes consistently on infrastructure automation solutions is essential in this role.
• The candidate should have a good understanding of interfacing applications with vRA / vRO APIs

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering (or equivalent)
• You have at least 5 years of practitioner experience in DevOps/SRE and cloud technologies.
• You have deep knowledge of cloud service providers and best practices around implementation and configuration, preferably managing AWS.
• Good knowledge of and ability to make use of most of the AWS resources such as EC2, RDS, ALB, Code Pipeline, ElastiCache, Auto-scaling Group, S3, VPC, IAM, EKS, ECS, CloudFront, Route53, CloudWatch, Lambda
• You are proficient in cloud-native technology and tools, including Kubernetes, containers, and Terraform Project experience which includes Requirement Analysis, Coding, Testing, UAT and support
• Very good experience in Project execution using agile development methodology (Scrum) and SDLC process documentation.
• A good understanding of infrastructure elements, virtualization and sizing like CPU, RAM and Hard Disk usage
• Hands-on project execution experience using Ansible, PowerShell and customization of workflows using Orchestration in VMware vRealize Suite environment
• Candidate should be prepared to work extended hours specifically for giving hyper support after production release
