Software Developer (Java) - Part-Time

COMPANY OVERVIEW

A well‑established technology services company delivering IT solutions, infrastructure support, and outsourced operational services. It works with clients across various sectors to enhance efficiency and strengthen digital capabilities.

This is 12-month agency contract role (possibility of renewal/extension)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will lead project activities across all phases, including:

• Gather and analyze business requirements; assess feasibility and manage scope
• Prepare compliant requirement documentation to minimize rework
• Maintain scope control, update RTM, and logout-of-scope items
• Develop technical design and participate in reviews
• Configure and manage hardware, software, servers, and documentation
• Contribute to coding and code reviews
• Support testing (integration, system, UAT) and implementation
• Prepare manuals and conduct user/operator training
• Provide post-implementation and production support
• Escalate critical issues (e.g., scope creep) to management
• Conduct requirement sessions and gap analysis for improvements
• Communicate clearly with customers on project matters
• Track progress and report to the Project Manager
• Resolve issues promptly

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree from any recognized university
• Atleast 5 years of IT experience in business analysis
• Familiar with banking business such as Loan, Trade and Market area
• Familiar with Java and Spring Framework or/and Low Code development
• Familiar with JavaScript and SQL
• Experience of Financial domain Projects
• Monitor and mitigate risks in project delivery
• Experienced in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
